A glimpse behind the scenes of what I’ve been working on besides the new music:
If you’ve been in the new discord channel you’ve heard me mention this a few times but no amount is too many — I am beyond pumped to reveal the new merch. Have been working on it like crazy behind the scenes. I want it to represent everything my music stands for: words with meaning that serve as reminders for you in your own life and that are helpful for others to carry around. Going along with that, I want to deliver on the merch items you guys have always been asking me for. Have almost too many ideas in mind to pull them all off right away but I’m going to give it a shot. Who’s got space in their dresser for new merch?
If you follow my music, you know it’s all about the lyrics and what they represent. Every song of mine has a personal message, and even if that message is small, it’s just as important as the production, the recording, the music video, and the live show. My message and philosophy on life are a big part of what I am determined to share. I like when music has meaning beyond the music itself. So if the words in the songs can be uplifting reminders, affirmations or pieces of encouragement — that’s fulfilling to me, and something I want to be represented in the look of the merchandise too. My songs will always be about my real life experiences (the mantras you hear in the music are directed as much at myself as much as they are towards anyone who listens) and all of the new items I’m working on will be no different.
So here’s the plan:
All of the big ideas I’ve always promised I am going to start make happening. You guys have asked me through the years for certain lyric shirts, we’re doing em one by one. You’ve asked me for lyric stickers written out in my handwriting, we’re doing em. You’ve asked for DAD HATS, we are doing em (and they’re gonna be legendary). I’m going to start with one special lyric shirt and a set of new stickers, and will be tackling the hats as the next big drop after that about a month from now.
Also, I’m going to start running new designs by the new discord channel to have you guys involved in helping to choose what I put into production. Could use your help with color choices, choosing the best lyrics for lyric shirts, and decisions like crew neck sweatshirts vs. pullover hoodies. I’m essentially running the merch store out of my bedroom and handle the entire mailing process on my own, but I feel less alone knowing you guys believe in and rep the merch just as much as any song.

We’re gonna start the summer killing month off with a lot of life.
